# What is i-star-i?

i-star-i (<em>"ee-star-ee"</em>) is an online tool where you can sign-up to be available as a code-literate peer-reviewer and/or collaborators or find one. It is a project started by Sorrel Harriet, Diego Alonso Alvarez and Alessandro Felder at the SSI Collaborations Workshop 2019 Hackday. 

# What does the name mean?

The name refers to the Lord of Rings Quenya language word for wizard. The wizards arrived to Middle-Earth to assist with better peer-review. The logo symbolises the link between two peers through a star.
